Last year President Rodrigo Duterte CHARGED Senator Trillanes and Former President Aquino. President Duterte said that both of them had done treason or "back-channel talks" to China. Both of them are charged with "Treason and Espionage". It's shame for the Filipino Citizens.
This said charge is cause by false accuse of Sen. Trillanes to our President Duterte that he said that the President had a million pesos in his bank accounts. That is proven 100% absurd!
According to the charged case, Sen. Trillanes met 16 times to the Chinese and pleased them to make it a secret. Trillanes said to the Chinese that the Philippines cannot protect its own shore. And because of this the Chinese have been aggressive to claim the Scarborough Shoal and Spratly Islands. This action just mean that he is a TRAITOR TO OUR COUNTRY! This is the statement of the complainant, Ronald Adamat.
When the Filipino people know about this, many brought their own opinion.Most of it is full of anger and frustration with Senator and former president. Because they absolutely can not think that one of the Philippines Government Official can act treacherously of their own country. This is slap in the face of Filipinos.
But according to the law, it must have a relation to the existence of war to take effect the "Treason Case". What China does is liken called "External Aggression" because of it's claim to the islands near the South China Sea. Former President Aquino is also affected to this because if we carefully consider this, this need public power that will not do it without the mandate of the President. Hence there is a big possibility that really implicating the president of betrayal in the Philippines.
So what can you say about this? We are Blind till now. He said to the "TUWID NA DAAN" but he himself is not Straight(LOL).
