What?! Android One is still alive? Is this real?

Yes, you're right. Google is still continue workingbwith the budget smartphone which is Android One which was introduced last 2014 in India.
In the recap, in Philippines, we already have Cherry Mobile One and MyPhone Uno which was powered by Mediatek MT6582 and the second generation was Cherry Mobile G1 with LTE and a Snapdragon 410 processor.
In Turkey, Google was partnered also with the General Mobile which they have launched the General Mobile 4G which was the same as our Cherry Mobile One G1, secondly was the GM5 Plus with 13MP front camera and the third is the GM5 which was also the same specs with 4G but can support after Nougat update.
Now, Google is back and partnered again with General Mobile and announced the GM6, which is currently launched at MWC 2017.
The GM6 sports a 5.0-inch phone, equips with Mediatek MT6737T paired with Mali-T720 GPU. It is powered by the original Android 7.1 Nougat and also can support updates up to 2 years. The memory is 32GB of storage and 3GB of RAM. It has 13MP rear and 5MP front camera, now with SELFIE FLASH! BOOM! Has a big juice enough with 3,000mAh of battery. And finally, the fingerprint sensor is now present in GM6 which is pretty cool and probably the first Android One smartphone with that feature.
How about the price? No words yet. It will be available in Turkey soon on markets and it is a bit impressed that Google is still going with an Android One program which offers affordable budget smartphones aside from the recently Google Pixel series. Stay tuned!
